Mega Sardines on Toast

Ingredients:

  • 2 (155g) cans of Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce (sauce set aside)

  • 25 g butter

  • olives, chopped

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (extra for garnish)

  • 4 thick slices ciabatta or slices of pandesal

Procedure:

  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. Mix the butter, chopped olives, lemon juice and chopped parsley. Season to taste.
  3. Toast the bread. Put the sardines on a baking tray and grill.
  4. Spread the toast roughly with butter and top with sardines.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley.
